The Park Department offers year-round activities and sports, parks, walking trails, facilities to rent, plus a fantastic fireworks display on the 4th of July.
Our 19-officer and 8-dispatcher team serves the 1.7 square mile city limits, protecting over 800 homes 24 hours a day.
Electriciy and water are provided by Walkerton Utilities. You can now pay your utility bill online! For billing, services, or problems, call 574-586-3711.
We respond to an average of 150 emergency calls per year, including fires, and rescue. The deparment also provides and receives mutual aid from neighboring fire departments.
