The Town of Walkerton will hold the annual spring clean up on May 23, 24th, and 25th. Utility Department personnel will collect only large items from the street curbs. These Crews will make one trip down each street in town. Residents should have all items to be collected in front of there homes by 7:00 a.m. Monday, May 23

Any item that will fit in a trash bag or trash can (35gal) will not be picked up; they can be placed out on your normal trash pick up day. There will be no alley pickup. Please do not place brush or limbs with spring clean up items. Refrigerators, freezers, and Air Conditioners will not be picked up unless the Freon has been removed by a certified company.

Tires, paint, brush, hazardous materials, and building materials will not be picked up. Household hazardous waste items can be disposed of at the Household Hazardous Waste Center, located at 1105 East 5th Street in Mishawaka. Homeowners may contact the Clerk-Treasurers office for more information at 586-3711.
