The Walkerton Fire Department consists of 23 active members which are all volunteer.
The Department responds to an average of 150 emergency calls per year, ranging from any type of fire, to any rescue. The Walkerton Fire Deparment also provides and receives mutual aid from our neighboring fire departments.

Special Recognition

Gene Brems has retired after 38 years of service, and Larry Dill retired after 33 years of service.
Both Gene and Larry held numerous positions throughout the department, and it is with much regret that we watch them go, but thank them for the loyal support and dedication.
