There are many services the Walkerton Police Department offers 24 hours a day. Most of these transactions must be completed in person at the station in order to verify identity or to collect fees. Below is a list of administrative fees and links to some of the forms:
-Handgun permit applications must be filled out by the Chief of Police if you live in Walkerton city limits. If you live outside the city, contact your county's Sheriff Department.
-Please bring identification with you for local background checks, handgun permits, or deer permits.
-Confidential information on incident reports (such as juvenile data, Social Security numbers, or suspect info in active cases) will be suppressed.
